Where We Work

The southern and western regions of Zimbabwe are semi-arid to arid areas.

These have been badly affected by recent droughts and poor rainfall. Many areas, particularly in the south, often harvest a useful crop only once in ten years.

The rural communal areas Dabane works in are particularly disadvantaged - marginal land with poor soils and low rainfall, in locations far from services and infrastructure.
